Storm®
Agapanthus... the most floriferous Agapanthus on the market
today. Storm begins to flower about three weeks earlier than most
other varieties and flowers consistently about three weeks longer
(on average 70 days per season). Storm also flowers profusely at
an early age with a three year old plant producing up to 25 flower
spikes in a season. Much more compact in height than other varieties,
Storm reaches a height of about 28 -34", which makes it great
not only for landscaping, but also container plantings. Northern
gardeners can plant Storm in containers as an annual to achieve
that great tropical feel on their decks and patios all summer long.
Storm® Agapanthus is available in
2 colors - Snowstorm® and Bluestorm®.
Snowstorm® is a great landscape plant.
It is at home under any conditions including dry areas and areas
with poor soil. Snowstorm® forms compact
tight clumps and bursts forth with masses of snow white flowers
in late spring to midsummer, with flushes of extra blooms in late
summer and fall. Bluestorm® produces
an abundance of light violet-blue flowers in late spring through
mid-summer. Spot flowering will occur in late summer and fall. Like
Snowstorm®, it is an easy care plant
that can survive under tough landscape applications.
